The Reverend Katherine M. Stiles

The Rev. Katherine M. Stiles is an Episcopal priest and a Psychiatric Social Worker. She has over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist skilled in individual, group and family therapy, and the exploration and integration of spirituality and health. Katherine is a consultant and founding board member of the Tutu Institute for Prayer and Pilgrimage. With the Rev. M. Tutu, she has served as a planner, leader and facilitator for numerous pilgrimages to South Africa. Additionally, Katherine provides Pastoral Counseling and Guidance at the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she also offers group spiritual direction. She is on the mental health staff at Harvard University Health Services, and has a private psychotherapy practice, offering counseling and consultation to individuals, groups, couples, and families. The Rev. Stiles holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA; a Master of Social Work degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio; and an A.B. in Religious Studies from Smith College in Northampton, MA. Katherine has a daughter Maya who is a film studies major at Yale and is currently studying documentary film-making in Johannesburg, South Africa. |
